Fanfic : It won't be easy Chapter 3

Summary : Kouta Yabu (20) had a step-little sister. Her name is Reiko Yabu (16). Their parents passed away 8 years ago, and they lived together until now.
(yes, i can't make a good summary T^T)

Kouta faced Kito. He glared at him.

"What's the matter?", said Keito confusedly.
"Reiko...", said Kouta. He still looked at Keito.
"Na...Nani?", she answered nervously.
"Who is this brat?"
"He... He is my friend!"
"And why you go home with him?", he took a death-glare to Keito.
"Nii-chan!"

Kouta still faced Keito. The younger boy looked so confused with him.

"Answer me, Reiko..."
"I...I..."
"I've told you that you aren't followed to go home or walking or whatever with a boy... Like him!", he pointed the younger boy's face.
"But, Nii-chan!", she started angry.
"Sorry..." said Keito.

Reiko looked at him.
"I saw her alone at the school-gate. I thought she's waiting for someone. But actually she was trying to call you, Yabu-san."
"And you know that my sister's cell was off?"
"Yes, I know."
"Why you didn't borrow her yours?"
"Same with mine... My cell was off too..."

Kouta took a deep breath. Reiko still looked at those two guys. She glared at her brother, and still worrying Keito.
"Don't touch my sister. Again. Okay?"
"Nii-chan!"

Keito was in silent. He thought that Reiko is right, her brother is over-protecting him. But Keito understand Kouta's feeling.

"Okay, I'm better to go home now", Keito put his bicycle.
"Keito!", shouted Reiko.
"Yes?"
"Be careful. And sorry..."
Keito just smiled at her, and bowed to Kouta. And he left Yabu's residence.

Then the two went inside the house. Kouta was worrying about his sister too much, and he always asking who was Keito. Reiko didn't like Kouta if he acted like this. Reiko thought his brother was really annoying, because he didn't want her to go with a boy. And he always called her everytime that she went out with some friends. She knew that she was his sister. She knew that she was the only one of his family. She knew that her parents ordered Kouta to protect their beloved step-child. And she knew Kouta was her brother, the only one brother in her life. But she didn't want to see Kouta like this.

"Nii-chan! You're a spitfire! I hate you!"

She cried. She left Kouta in livingroom, and ran to her room. Kouta heard the door slammed, and Kouta took a deep breath. He threw himself to the couch, and his hand massaged his head. He felt dizzy about this condition, and he never wanted his sister hate him like this. He just wanted to protect her.

"What is this feeling?", he touched his chest.

He felt so much pain in his heart. If his sister cried or somethig bad happened, his chest become so grieved.
He closed his eyes, and he remembered their childhood life. A gloomy side of their lifes, when that accident happened....
